Rainbows always stand for hope. Lots of people like rainbows. Children make wishes on them, artists paint them, dreamers chase them, and bakers now make food with it. Epicurious has ride on the food trend to create a toast containing rainbow!!! Colourful cheese flowing out of the toast, just create another food for the camera.

Located near united square along the Singapore River, Epicurious has create a rainbow cheese toast for diners to have a taste of rainbow. The colours really lighten up the mood of the diners. One does not have to fear that the rainbow toast would be out of stock as it will be available all day. All you have to do is to ask for it.

The quiet and spacious environment within the restaurant bar helps to enhance the coziness of the cafe.

My aim is to try the toast go I have go along with the order of rainbow cheese toast and matcha mocha drink.

To further enhance the dining environment, the rainbow cheese toast would be served by the staff in the unicorn costume. I dint have my camera ready for this cute action.

These colours on the cheese were tainted by colours from real food. Red cabbage (violet), carrot (orange), roasted garlic and truffle oil (blue), spinach (green) and beetroot (pink).

I tried ripping the toast apart to reveal the cheese, but it was not as nicely done as compared to the epicurious photo.

My failed attempt

Despite its pretty appearance, i was disappointed by the taste, as it was really bland. The only taste was the cheese and truffle taste. Nothing else. So it can get rather boring. It would be better if the toast was toasted with butter to give a buttery taste. Nevertheless, the toast was crispy (outer) and soft (inner).

Matcha Mocha was a mixture of matcha latte and mocha. The overall taste was interesting. It tastes like milk cereal to me. You could observe the distinct two layers of the drink- Matcha (top layer) and mocha (bottom).

Matcha Mocha ($7.50)
For a taste of rainbow, you can drop by Epicurious for a chilling and fun dining experience with the rainbow toast.
