Putu piring is a type of round, steamed rice cake with a centre of melted palm sugar. A Malay adaptation of an Indian dish, it is a popular local snack. These babies made our journey to the east worth it. It is common to find Chinese version of this snack Tutu Kueh but to find Putu Piring, it required some effort. Love how fresh the coconut is and when you receive it hot, the sugar is still melted inside. Awesome and cheap local snack!!

Kho Kho Na Ra is a Korean restaurant situated in Tanjong Pagar. It serves Korean cuisine and happens to be known for their Korean Fried Chicken as well. It offers Combo Chicken Set ($20 during lunch, $25 during dinner) which has 9 pieces with 3 different flavours – original, sweet and special garlic soy sauce chicken.
