Putuo Village is a place suitable for people who seek peace and hideout from the hectic lifestyle. Despite being a Buddhist temple, it is also a place where nature is being incorporated widely within. Bamboo, trees and brightly coloured compounds helps to uplift one’s mood. Quietness of the compound helps to provide peace.
Many of us are very used to the urban concrete jungle and lack the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of nature. Pu Tuo village gives us an opportunity to not only understand “Buddhist religion” but also the greenery incorporated into this compound.
I’m a free thinker so i'm there not for any prayer but rather to see what was interesting and unique. There is easy access to this huge compound.

When nearer to the compound, you will started to see sign box guiding your way to it. I’m a free thinker so i'm there not for any prayer but rather to see what was interesting and unique. There is easy access to this huge compound.

Upon seeing this cantilever sign, you know you are reaching, as you are required to turn in, into the "small road" to the temple.

The temple was really huge. You can see that the entrance was really grand with many incense contributed by believers.

In this temple, visit can have some fun by purchasing a ribbon that was attached to a very small orange. One can write down your wishes and toss the ribbon up to the tree. It was believed that if you have successfully toss it and was sincere enough, God will bless you with your wish.

Apart from the nice greenery, the architect of the building was really exquisite and grand. Just like the toilet photo below. The toilet was "housed" in these hut with concrete pole craved with dragons guarding the place.

For those who wish to experience eating vegetarian food, can proceed to this dinning hall. The food was really simple. Rice with a few different type of vegetables and soup for you to scooped into your bowl. As for the cost, it was based on how much you think you should contribute. However, if you wish try better form of food such as steamboat, then the price would be based on the set of ingredient you asked for.

Other than the food hall, you can also choose to sit by this small little hut to enjoy a chinese tea. There are tea pot, tea leaves and cups avaialble for you to use. It's Free of charge. This hut was the adjacent building from the main building you see previously. In this adjacent buildings, the views are really splendid.
