NICEDAY Dessert is a dessert concept from Taiwan,
specializing in Taro Q desserts. This signature is the Polo Ice Bowl which is
shaped like a pineapple pie. It has grass jelly, taro Q balls, mochi, azuki red
bean, kanten pearls buried underneath the brown sugar syrup shaved ice.
Located in Tiong Bahru Plaza level 2, it is easily
accessible via public transport. The dessert place provides seats infront of it
for diners. As there are many restaurants beside it, there is free music being
played throughout.
From the menu, you can be easily tempted by the
desserts provided as they look yummy.
There is a variety of desserts and drinks available for your selection.
As for my visit, my selection of desserts is Purple
Sweet Potato Milky Snow Mountain, Nata Mochi Bowl and Brownies & Oreo
Eggette.
The purple Sweet potato milky snow mountain looks like
bingsu however the texture was not as smooth as that of bingsu. The scoop of
coconut ice cream taste very refreshing as it was really smooth and light. The
purple dusting on top of it makes it really pretty. I love the combination of purple
sweet potato balls and red beans as it blend really well. However, it tends to
be too sweet for my likely.

Milky Snow Mountain($9.90)
The grass jelly in the nata mocha bowl was really
smooth and light. Couple with the chewy mocha balls, the desserts has a good
blend of smooth and chewy texture. The sweetness was just right making it
really delicious.

Nata Mochi Bowl ($4.50)
Lastly, the eggette was really crispy with strong egg aroma.
The chocolate sauce and whipped cream helps to prevent the eggette from being
too dry. It really looks an dtaste sinful
(calories overdozed).

For cheap and yummy desserts or a hangout place after
dinner, popped by at NiceDay desserts for a taste of Taiwanese desserts. I’m
sure it will make you craving for more.
