Day 3

This day was relatively stressful as we knew we have a tight schedule that we have planned to conquer. We left the hotel in the early morning 6am just because we were leaving Bangkok to another popular tourism location – Hua Hin & Cha-am!! We chanced on this place while we were searching for more funs in Bangkok, we took the itinerary from several tourism agencies and saw this beautiful place! Since neither of us ever been to Hua Hin, this was immediately added to our iternary to experience new fun. We contacted and rent a private car together with the driver – Nok(nokwalail7@gmail.com) ,  for one whole day in order to go to all attractions we have planned. We were very excited along the way to Hua Hin yet right after 30mins setoff, we couldn’t resist the sleepiness and continued our sleep in the car.

Setting Off To Hua Hin

The journey to Hua Hin takes about 2 hours time as it was about 200km away from Bangkok. It was quite smooth traffic, maybe due to our very early setting off time, and it was all travelled on a Highway. We reached Hua Hin unknowingly as we were busy sleeping on the car. First thing upon arrival, of course was our breakfast!! We spoke to our driver Nok to recommend some of the nice place for breakfast thus he brought us to a very nice scenery restaurant (1,000 Sook Food & Farm) which as situated by the road. However, it wasn’t open yet as it was too early.

So pity that it didn’t open as we came too early… But we would definitely come back one day…

We couldn’t wait as we were on tight schedule. In a minute of time, Nok turned his car and headed to another direction for our breakfast. He brought us to a place where we should have include it in our plan yet due to tight schedule, we gave it up – The Hua Hin Beach !!

There were lots of shops along Huahin beach where you could see tourists visiting the place. Nok spent some time on searching for the correct restaurant as we told him earlier on that we would like to try some local Thai foods. It really took some time…until our tummy couldn’t take it and we told him to stop brain-storming and stop-by at one of the Thai restaurant to order our breakfast.
Huahin Beach
Traditional Thai Milk Tea
Couldn’t resist the green curry especially in Thailand….

After filling up our stomach, we were ready to go for our first destination in HuaHin!! It was a very scenery place, where many people in the world would like to go – The Santorini Park ! Here are some beautiful photos we taken.

At The Entrance, Ready To Go

Entrance Ticket

The Fountain at the entrance. .isn't it beautiful
We entered the park effortlessly without any queue as we arrive at the place minutes after its opening hours, thus there were not many people. We couldn’t be more excited and quickly went into the park to begin our adventure!

The park was indeed decorated in the Greece Santorini feel with lots of blue and white colour buildings. Even the tiles were detailed in every step to ensure tourists enjoy their time at “Santorini”.

The shops however were not much of a choice as they were mostly selling souvenirs, clothing, women’s handbag (The Naraya :)) and some toys. We did notice most of the tourists were walking into the shops yet came out with bare hand.

Here are some more photos which we felt nice scenery.
Does It has Santorini Feel??
More Pictures
You can pay to sit the ferries Wheel too

Heart Heart Heart
One cheesy Photo
羞羞。。shy shy

Guess where am I? It’s the washroom!! Can feel the park indeed put in effort for decoration :)
After spending hours in the park, we start to realize that the reason behind why the park was not crowded was not due to us being early but rather it was because it did not attract many tourists. It was weekend yet the visitors volume was not that optimum. Maybe because it was at the outskirt of Bangkok thus lesser people are willing to travel here. However this also created very good opportunity for us to take photos at places we like and we could take as long as we wish to come out with the pictures we wanted.

Every rides need to pay…This could deter tourists ???
Guess where we were? We had fun on one of the so-called 7D cinema .... It cost us 240baht... not so expensive though.
Maybe this should be consider the most scenery and memorable place to take photo...
Shhhhhhhyyyyyyy...... Don't tell anybody....
Don't be mistaken. The park is still a worth to take a ride place. A place to visit at least once in a lifetime. The scenery created was still attractive and we enjoyed it. Basically you would walk from buildings with fully sheltered to an open air spacious area enjoying memorable moment under the iconic landmark of Santorini ferries wheel. We were walking under the hot sun thus we didn't spend much time on taking photos at every corner of the park.

I will be at the top of the Santorini!!

The top view of Santorini Park. Feel like runner maze huh?
Does it look like fairytale setting...
My man who is so happy on the carousel. It's his first attempt.
Last photo before leaving “Santorini” for another attraction. Show me your true heart :)

We left Santorini with happiness and souvenirs. We did feel sad that the place was not in its best condition as some of the shops started to close down possibly due to low visitors. Some of the places were not well maintained possibly due to short of fund. Hope our “donation “to the park would somehow help a little for the park to continue their operating to let more people get a chance to enjoy this little Santorini.....

Next, we headed towards the next destination which was just walking distance from Santorini Park - Swiss Sheep Farm. Couldn't imagine sheep under hot sun..?!
Hello beauty :) My name is Mr. Pumpkin. Would you like to be my girl?
Can't open my eyes.......
Sheep eat meat. Don't tell me you don't know?!
I can understand how you feel with a thick blanket covered on body under hot sun.... get yourself a cool place before fainted...
Come come....I pat you.

We spent some dollars and bucks to feed the sheeps and the little poney. They were both adorable :)

Even though it was under hot sun, we still felt lucky without having the need to take photos with our umbrella if it was a rainy day.

The scene was really good with a mountain situated just behind the farm. Everything was just so green and natural.

Come come....I feed you.

To our surprise, there is Alpaca!
Cute :))

There was a building with air-conditioning specially built to accommodate the Alpaca to keep them live under cold air. Before entering the building, we were asked to pay for the entry fees of 50baht/pax, wear the plastic cap provided to ensure no unnecessary materials sticking on our shoes being brought into the Alpaca home. Alpaca was not fear of stranger. In fact, they were quite friendly and "cooperative" when we want to took photos with them :)

Right after the Alpaca visit, it was nearly time for us to the next destination thus we took another few photos before leaving the place with full of satisfaction.
Hand in hand. Love with no end.
Shall we build a little house together :)
Thank you snowman :) We have a happy day. Hope you won't melt ya ;P

We were brought by Nok to another surprise restaurant, somewhere at the sea side to have our lunch. We were hoping to get something cold to cool down our body at that moment! Luckily it did.
Sea side restaurant with strong wind ! Nice!!

Yeah coconut!! Thanks for saving our life ;D
Next, we moved to a further place - Cha-am. Cha-am is about 20 minutes driving distance away from Hua Hin.

First shopping destination - FN Factory Outlet (Maybe the only shopping mall???). This outlet is location on the main highway from Hua hin toward Cha-Am. There was huge signboard guiding visitors thus you can never miss this place. We knew this place by recommendation online.
Credit: FN Factory Outlet

FN Factory Outlet refers to FLY NOW Factory Outlet. Fly Now, is a leading Thai fashion brand established back in 1983.  It has been established in various location selling clothing, accessories, furniture, gift and even food. Apart from selling its own fashion line, they also carry products from famous brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, AX Armani Exchange, Calvin Klein, DKNY, Greyhound and Zara. As a factory outlet, it provides goods at discounted price.

The huahin outlet was constructed using glass and steel structures to create a modern style. There are basically two building connected by a garden. One building is selling clothing and home decoration while the other was showcasing the dining, gift and food.

Our main purpose was not to shop anything but rather to take photo with the "Dinosaur" in front of the mall: D

It was a pretty dinosaur though.

Having taken the photo of the dinosaur, we decided to have a high tea under the trees by buying 2 cans of grapes juice and took our rest at the bench provided by the mall. This place really provides us with a lot of comfort. The greenery surrounding the building helps to shelter the hot sun and brings in natural wind.
The dinosaur that my bf insisted on taking photo with :)
Greenery surrounding the mall and it was super comfortable to have a high tea under those trees...

Spending about half hour taking some photos and consuming our drink, we then moved to next stop - The Venezia Hua Hin. This was also a very scenic place for photo taking. It contains lots of themes from different countries. However we were shock at the actual condition of the place, as it wasn't clean nor looked like a tourist spot. Fortunately, internal of the park was still acceptable. There were different packages offered by the park, each of them consist of few themes allowed to be visited. We chose the cheapest package as we were not interested in some of the themes and of course to save cost.

We are at .... not sure

I am as beauty as swan :P

Hello, my prince, come and bring me back to castle

I am not as tall as you. But I am more colourful than you :D
The Park was basically quite comfortable to walk around, yet it was also facing the same fate as Santorini Park. Low volume of visitors (we believed) had made it to be financially difficult to maintain. Some of the theme gardens were not supposed to be opened to everyone (except those bought the entrance ticket for it) yet there was no one monitoring.

There was actually shelter outside those gardens for staff to collect ticket to verify their package before allowing them to proceed into the garden.

Since this was the case, we went into those gardens (without permission, but no one to permit also) to have a look and took photos also :)

Musical Garden

Go! Go! Go! Bring us back to Santa!
We were arguing whether this was Pikachu...
Theme at the back : The Venezia Street

Real street out of drawing
It's so cold.... Faster faster , take my picture!

Take a nice winter photo for me ya....
While we walked through the shops, most of them were already closed down. There were only few shops opening and we stop-by and bought few pieces of couple-tee as a support for them. We felt quite a pity that such a nice place was actually facing the fate of closing down. This would have become one of the hottest dating spot if it's in Singapore!! At the same time we felt that we are lucky that we had been here.

Ooppppss..... Sorry. The archer is on leave.... Help yourself then....

Hollow man does exist!!!
So pity that we were not the guest
Alright. Time to move on. Thanks Venezia for enlighten our day.... Hope we will still have chance to pay you a visit...Wish you all the best...

The sky started to turn dark and we still had 2 more stations to go, we quickly jumped onto car and headed to next destination.

Cicada Market, a night market where you could find hundreds of stalls selling foods, cheap stuffs, handbags etc. It was a nice place for those shoppers. It was just like our Pasar Malam yet it was more organized, beautiful and artsy. Cicada stands for Community of Identity Culture Arts & Dynamic Activities, and happens only from Friday to Sunday. The market has four zones, Art A La Mode, Cicada Art Factory, Amphitheatre and Cicada Cuisine.

Heading to the last destination in Cha-am, we finally felt relief as our schedule was followed accordingly and none of the attractions were left out! Yeah!! What a fruitful day :D

The last station - The Plearn Wan Street was relatively important to us. Not because of it's speciality but because we haven't had our dinner!! Yes we decided to have our dinner there just because we wanted to have a beautiful end point for our day. Yes it was quite a nice scenery street also especially at night.

Plearnwan is derived from a combination of the English words 'Play and Learn', together with a Thai word ‘Wan’ that means yesterday. Plearnwan aims to be a place where everyone can play out the lifestyle of earlier times, and in playing can learn some of the history, ritual, culture, and arts of living of that period.

Just cannot resist! The bread sold there was really soft and fluffy.

Limited food choice. We chose chicken rice with chrysanthemum tea as our dinner. Taste was normal as the rice does not have the chicken rice fragrance & the chicken was really dry.
Gem that we found here – MOCHI ICE-CREAM (50 baht each)!!!
Must try :) Chewy Mochi Coating The Cold & Creamly Ice-cream Within

We finally completed our journey at Hua Hin & Cha-am in one day. Full Satisfaction. And it was time to rest for tomorrow....

Our driver Nok drove us back to Hua Hin and fortunately, it didn't spend us much time to locate our accommodation - Juntima Boutique Hotel. We booked the villa for that night stay at a very affordable price.

Our driver Nok. Thanks for driving us whole day around so many locations. It's been tough on you since early morning. Hope to see you soon again... korp koon krap and thumbs up!
Our Villa.. There is a indoor and outdoor shower area. Was too lazy to take photo of it.
We didn't have time to enjoy the swimming pool facility... But we still enjoy the stunning view and the relaxing feel...
