Looking for a place for Thai
Savoury Food & Traditional Desserts, Kanoom can be your choice. It is a
little cosy Little Thai Café located in Tanjong Pagar.
Kanoom was located at the building beside tanjong pagar
market, level 2. It was rarely being observed due to its location. This newly
open thai café serves many traditional Thai food, desserts, toast with sweet
fillings, bread with dips and Thai drinks.
Despite its small space, it was rather cosy within
which chairs and tables spaciously spread out. The friendly services value-add
the dining experience here.

Creamy coconut milk was poured on top of the sticky
rice. The rice was chewy and soft, A good match of texture. With the company of
sweet sour mango, this dish definitely helps to appetize us.

I was expecting super soft and fluffy bread, however
what was on the table was not soft enough. Perhaps due to the the bread skin
which tends to be a little hard. The bread should have been steam a little
longer so as to give a softer texture. The pandan dips was slightly thick, fragrant
and not so sweet.
Crunchy water chestnut was coated with red transparent tapioca
starch. This red ruby as then drowned in sweet coconut milk. Crunch, chewy and tasty.

We were too thirsty after our meal so we drink the Iced
Thai Milk Tea without taking photo. The milk tea was sweet and milky with tea fragrant
in every mouth.
